Looking back at 2025, one thing stands out clearly: this was a year of deliberate choices, shaped by discipline, focus, and a long-term view.

    It wasn’t the easiest year for the global tech industry. Many companies slowed down, paused investments, or shifted priorities. For Vega IT, 2025 became a year in which we consciously balanced stability and experimentation, services and products, and global expansion with operational discipline.

    Here’s what shaped our year.

    1. Navigating a market that demanded focus

    The macroeconomic uncertainty that started earlier in the decade continued throughout 2025. Clients across industries became more cautious, budgets were scrutinised more closely, and “nice-to-have” initiatives were often postponed.

    Rather than chasing volume, we focused on fit.

    We doubled down on:

    • long-term client relationships,
    • complex projects where trust, continuity and domain knowledge matter,
    • opportunities where Vega IT could act as a true partner, not just an execution arm.

    This inevitably meant saying no more often, but it also meant saying yes to the right kind of work.

    2. A rare delivery setup: Onsite, nearshore and offshore – by design

    One of the most important strategic investments of 2025 happened quietly, but its impact will be long-lasting.
    By investing in:

    • a delivery organisation in the UK,
    • a new office and growing delivery capabilities in Nigeria,
    • and continuing to strengthen our Serbia and Montenegro delivery centres,

    Vega IT is now in a rare position to genuinely offer onsite, nearshore, and offshore delivery, within one integrated operating model.

    This was not accidental.

    Why this matters

    Clients increasingly want:

    • onsite presence for strategic alignment, trust building, and complex stakeholder environments,
    • nearshore teams for tight collaboration and time-zone overlap,
    • offshore scale for efficiency, continuity, and access to larger talent pools.

    In 2025, we reached a point where we can combine all three in a single engagement, without fragmentation, without hand-offs between vendors, and without compromising quality.

    Nigeria: A strategic investment, not a cost play

    Our investment in Nigeria is a great example.

    It was never just about cost efficiency. It was about:

    • accessing exceptional engineering talent,
    • building long-term delivery capacity,
    • and creating opportunities for people who want to work on global products while staying rooted locally.

    By the end of 2025, Nigerian teams were already successfully delivering for international clients, fully integrated into Vega IT’s engineering culture and standards.

    Combined with our growing UK delivery presence, this gives us a global setup that very few companies of our size can genuinely claim.

    Riyadh: Building for the future

    In 2025, we also launched our Riyadh office, marking an important milestone in Vega IT’s expansion into the Middle East. We have already started working on exciting and meaningful projects in Saudi Arabia, and the initial traction has been very encouraging.

    We strongly believe that our broad experience gained from working with clients in Western Europe, the US and other mature markets can bring tangible value to organisations in the Kingdom, particularly in the context of Vision 2030 and the large-scale digital transformation it entails.

    Looking ahead, we plan to enable delivery capabilities within our Riyadh office, further strengthening our ability to serve clients in the region with a local presence backed by Vega IT’s global delivery network.

    3. Continuing strategic partnerships

    In 2025, Vega IT continued to invest in strategic partnerships that play a central role in how we scale, innovate, and deliver long-term value for our clients. These include:

    • a partnership with Daon to help organisations design secure, compliant, and frictionless customer identity journeys across complex, regulated environments;
    • a delivery partnership with SEND, focused on accelerating the development and scaling of complex insurance and reinsurance platforms;
    • the formation of JV: Axceler8 Solutions, a 50-50 joint venture with Arthur D. Little, created to develop and scale productised digital solutions that combine strategic advisory with deep engineering execution.

    4. From services to products: Axceler8 Solutions takes shape

    One of the defining moments of 2025 was the formal establishment and first market traction of Axceler8 Solutions, a joint venture between Vega IT and Arthur D. Little (ADL).

    This JV was not born out of theory, but out of real client needs and a year of hands-on collaboration.

    What makes Axceler8 Solutions different

    Axceler8 Solutions exists to create productised, scalable digital solutions, not slide decks.

    The first product, Axceler8 Rx, focuses on accelerating clinical trials, helping pharmaceutical companies reduce time-to-market through advanced data, AI-driven insights, and automation.

    For Vega IT, this represented several important shifts:

    • moving from pure services towards product ownership and IP creation;
    • working side-by-side with a global strategy consultancy as an equal partner;
    • and proving that we can design, build, and operate complex, industry-specific products at scale.

    In 2025, Axceler8 Solutions moved from concept to reality, with real clients, real pilots, and real impact.

    5. Applying product thinking internally, and for clients

    Beyond Axceler8 Solutions, 2025 was a year in which product thinking became deeply embedded at Vega IT, both internally and in client engagements.

    This was reflected in several concrete initiatives and accelerators we actively developed, used, and delivered:

    • Credit Risk Check, an AI-based solution designed to help organisations assess credit risk more efficiently and consistently, using data-driven models to support faster and more informed decision-making.
    • Document AI, our accelerator for intelligent document processing, which enables clients to automate the extraction, classification, and analysis of large volumes of unstructured documents, significantly reducing manual effort and errors.
    • Collaboration and Document Storage Accelerator, supporting secure, structured, and compliant collaboration and document management, particularly important for regulated industries and distributed teams.

    These accelerators allowed us to:

    • shorten time-to-value for clients;
    • reuse proven architectural and functional patterns;
    • and move conversations away from “building from scratch” toward scalable, outcome-driven solutions.

    6. People, leadership and experience – strengthening the core

    2025 was also a year in which we deliberately strengthened Vega IT with experience we previously did not have in-house.

    We:

    • welcomed back several professionals who returned to Serbia after spending decades working in large global organisations;
    • hired senior people abroad, giving us the opportunity to work closely with experts who bring different perspectives, backgrounds, and working cultures.

    These colleagues brought deep industry and enterprise experience, exposure to large-scale systems, governance models, and global operating structures, and valuable lessons we could immediately apply across Vega IT.

    At the same time, we continued to invest in internal growth, enabling our own people to learn, lead, and take on broader responsibilities, enriched by the knowledge and mentorship of these new colleagues.

    7. Community, responsibility, and long-term thinking

    Even while focusing on operational excellence, Vega IT did not step back from its broader responsibilities.

    In 2025, we continued to support non-profit organisations, contribute time and expertise to educational initiatives, and invest in projects that create impact beyond commercial metrics. Some of these initiatives involve:

    • several tens of thousands of euros in financial support and equipment donated to six non-profit organisations, a school, and a healthcare centre;
    • continued collaboration with renowned non-profit organisations, such as Duchenne;
    • Scan and support, an initiative delivered through the Vega IT Foundation’s partnership with Duchenne UK and Send, focused on improving access to preventive health screenings and early diagnostics through targeted financial support and medical equipment donations.

    We strongly believe that companies are part of society, not separate from it, and this belief continued to guide our decisions.

    8. What 2025 proved

    Despite a challenging market, Vega IT achieved growth of around 15% in 2025 – a result we consider both meaningful and encouraging in the broader industry context.

    More importantly, this growth was healthy and sustainable, driven by long-term clients and trusted partnerships, and achieved without compromising our values or quality standards.

    2025 reinforced several important convictions:

    • disciplined growth outperforms reactive expansion;
    • integrated global delivery creates a real competitive advantage;
    • product thinking unlocks long-term value;
    • and experience, both internal and external, matters more than ever.

    9. Looking ahead: What this means for our clients in 2026

    As we move into 2026, Vega IT does so with a clearer identity and a stronger proposition for our clients.
    They will benefit from:

    • a globally integrated delivery model, combining onsite, nearshore and offshore capabilities;
    • local presence in key regions such as the UK, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia, backed by mature delivery centres;
    • access to productised accelerators and solutions that reduce risk, time and cost;
    • and teams enriched by deep enterprise experience and cross-market knowledge.

    In practice, this means faster execution, better predictability, and solutions designed not just to work but to last.

    We enter 2026 confident, focused, and committed to continuing to build partnerships based on trust, expertise, and shared success.

    To our clients, partners, and colleagues: thank you for being part of the journey.
