Role Purpose

The Sales Enablement & Proposal Manager plays a critical role in enabling Vega IT’s commercial success by leading and coordinating high-quality sales pursuits, proposals, and tenders across priority accounts and net-new opportunities.

This role sits at the intersection of sales strategy and operations, sales support, proposal management, and account and pursuit management support, ensuring that Vega IT presents compelling, differentiated, and well-structured value propositions while continuously improving win rates, sales effectiveness, and operational discipline.

Reports to Head of Strategic Pursuits and Account Growth

Key responsibilities

1. Proposal & bid management

  • Lead end-to-end proposal, RFP, RFQ, and tender responses, from qualification through submission and post-decision reviews
  • Own the bid management process, including timelines, roles, responsibilities, governance, and quality control
  • Coordinate cross-functional contributors (Sales, Technical Sales/Delivery, Engineering, Design, Legal, Finance, Marketing) to ensure timely and coherent submissions
  • Write, edit, and structure proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with client requirements and evaluation criteria
  • Ensure proposals clearly articulate Vega IT’s value proposition, differentiation, delivery approach, and commercial logic

2. Sales enablement & pre-sales support

  • Support front-line sales teams across the full pursuit lifecycle—from opportunity inception to deal close
  • Prepare and structure operational sales meetings, including agendas, messaging, positioning, and supporting materials
  • Create and refine sales decks, pitch presentations, and client-specific narratives
  • Identify, curate, and tailor relevant case studies, credentials, and proof points for specific opportunities
  • Act as a trusted partner to sales leaders on complex, strategic, or high-value pursuits

3. Priority accounts & strategic pursuits

  • Support priority account and key pursuit programs, ensuring consistent execution and disciplined follow-through
  • Develop custom sales and account-specific materials for priority clients (e.g., account plans, value hypotheses, relationship maps, pursuit briefs)
  • Help structure pursuit strategies that align client needs, Vega IT capabilities, and long-term account growth objectives
  • Coordinate internal alignment across leadership, sales, and delivery teams on strategic opportunities

4. Sales content & custom materials creation

  • Write and create custom sales content tailored to specific clients, industries, and opportunities
  • Develop reusable proposal components, messaging frameworks, and sales narratives
  • Maintain and continuously improve Vega IT’s sales and proposal content library
  • Ensure consistency of tone, quality, and positioning across all sales materials

5. Sales operations & initiative project management

  • Lead and support sales operations initiatives, including but not limited to:
    • Priority account programs
    • Key pursuit governance
    • Proposal process improvements
    • Sales enablement tools and templates
  • Apply strong project management discipline to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and with measurable impact
  • Collaborate with leadership to define, roll out, and embed scalable sales processes

6. KPI tracking, analysis & continuous improvement

  • Track, analyze, and report on sales and proposal KPIs, including but not limited to:
    • Win rates (overall and by segment)
    • Proposal cycle time
    • Bid/no-bid effectiveness
    • Average deal size
    • Conversion rates across pipeline stages
  • Conduct post-decision reviews (wins and losses) to capture insights and improvement actions
  • Use data and insights to recommend process, content, and capability improvements

Relevant qualifications & experience

Experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Sales Enablement
    • Sales Operations
    • Proposal / Bid Management
    • Proposal Writing
    • Pre-Sales or Commercial Support
  • Experience supporting B2B services organizations, ideally within IT services, consulting, or professional services
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Skills & competencies

  • Exceptional English language skills (written and verbal); ability to write clear, persuasive, and structured business content
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how deals are shaped, evaluated, and closed
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical and business inputs into clear client-facing narrative
  • High attention to detail without losing sight of strategic objectives

Nice to have

  • Experience with RFPs and tenders in international or regulated markets
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, proposal management tools)
  • Experience supporting large, complex, or multi-stakeholder deals
  • Exposure to analytics, data-driven sales performance management, or growth programs
