    UniCredit Bank Serbia is part of one of Europe’s leading financial groups, operating across 13 countries, with a strong local presence. The bank has a clear strategic focus: simplify financial services, strengthen operational resilience, and invest in digital capabilities that support long-term growth.

    In recent years, UniCredit Bank Serbia has been accelerating its digital transformation agenda, aiming to replace fragmented processes with secure, data-driven systems that improve clarity, consistency, and user experience.

    Their commitment to modern engineering practices, operational transparency, and responsible innovation creates the foundation for solutions that are not only more efficient today but ready for the demands of tomorrow.

    Before this project, UniCredit Bank Serbia relied on manual data tracking across spreadsheets and several parallel communication channels. Operational and legal information was shared and stored in different places, which made it challenging to maintain a consistent view of ongoing work, monitor progress, and support smooth collaboration between internal teams and external partners.

    For a bank operating in a regulated environment, this setup was functional, but not future-ready. It limited visibility, slowed decision-making, and made it harder to maintain a reliable source of truth across processes that depend on precision and accountability.

    They saw a clear opportunity to strengthen these workflows by introducing a digital solution that would bring all activities into one place, improve coordination with external partners, and provide secure, traceable access to information. They were looking for a structured and dependable system that would align with internal standards, support compliance, and enable a more transparent and predictable operational flow.

    Together with the UniCredit Bank Serbia team, we developed a completely new digital application from scratch, designed to bring clarity, structure, and predictability to workflows that were previously handled through manual processes. The goal was not only to digitalise existing steps, but to create a foundation that supports consistent, traceable, and secure operations across all involved teams.

    The project was shaped through close, ongoing collaboration. Both teams worked side by side to refine requirements, map real-life use cases, and ensure that each feature aligned with the bank’s internal standards and compliance expectations. This joint approach allowed the solution to evolve naturally as new insights emerged, making the final system better aligned with how the teams actually work.

    Technically, the application integrates with UniCredit Bank’s core banking system, document management platform, and identity provider. These connections ensure stable data flows, secure access, and a unified working environment for both internal teams and external partners. By centralising all relevant information in one place, the solution enables clearer oversight, smoother coordination, and a more structured operational rhythm.

    The new digital application gives UniCredit Bank a single, reliable view of all operational and legal activities. By moving away from spreadsheets and parallel channels, the bank now works within a structured model that improves visibility, strengthens consistency, and supports clearer decision-making.

    Many users rely on the platform in their day-to-day work, including both internal teams and external partners. With all information in one place, collaboration is easier, communication is more transparent, and each activity can be tracked from start to finish with a predictable workflow.
