About the role

We are seeking a highly capable and professional Digital Transformation Consultant to join Vega IT’s London office and work closely with our senior partners to lead client-facing engagements with insurance companies. This role is key to integrating cutting-edge technology solutions and driving digital transformation across the insurance industry.


As part of our team, you will collaborate with senior partners focused on sales and client relationships, ensuring smooth coordination between client needs and the technical solutions we provide. This is a hands-on role that blends business analysis, stakeholder management, solution design, and business development.


You will play a key role in integrating applications such as Whitespace and other Vega IT underwriter workbench technology offerings, working directly with clients to tailor solutions that fit their business needs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with our London-based senior partners to engage insurance clients in solution discussions and integration projects.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and our internal teams, gathering, documenting, and structuring business and functional requirements.
  • Lead discovery sessions and facilitate workshops to align client needs with platform functionalities.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable tasks for development teams, ensuring a seamless delivery process.
  • Support the technical integration process (may vary depending on the project) and maintain ongoing client communication.
  • Create detailed documentation for requirements, workflows, and tasks for the development team.
  • Play a role in business development by contributing to early-stage discussions and potentially helping shape proposals and sales strategies.

What we're looking for:  

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in a consulting, business analysis, or functional lead role, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance business processes and digital transformation in this sector.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior partners and clients.
  • Experience in gathering and defining business requirements for technology solutions and translating them into actionable plans.
  • Comfortable working in agile environments and adapting to evolving project requirements.
  • Professional and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with integration platforms, SaaS solutions, or insurance technology.
  • Familiarity with documenting user stories and writing specifications for development teams.
  • Exposure to business development or pre-sales activities.
