What you'll bring:

As a Business Development Associate, you are responsible for supporting Vega IT’s growth in the global market by helping to acquire new clients. In this role, you will learn and contribute to market research, lead generation, and support the sales process. Additionally, you will assist in building relationships with key decision-makers, support sales activities, and contribute to achieving global sales goals.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in developing leads, building new client relationships, cultivating a targeted list of prospects, and generating qualified sales opportunities.
  • Supporting sales presentations and negotiations together with seasoned team members.
  • Learning how to manage the sales process to bring new clients on board.
  • Building internal relationships and collaborating with the broader Vega IT team to support a successful business development approach.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and client needs to position Vega IT services effectively.
  • Staying up to date with market trends, Vega IT service portfolio updates, and competitors.
  • Supporting identification and engagement of key decision-makers at all levels within the client organization.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely customer information, pipeline, and forecast data using Apollo and Salesforce.

 

What makes you a great fit:

  • You have up to 1 year of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, or similar roles (including internships or student projects).
  • You’re excited to start and grow your career in international Business Development and Sales.
  • You’re fluent in English (C1 level), both written and spoken.
  • You’re curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn and contribute.
  • You have strong communication skills and enjoy building meaningful relationships.
  • You’re open to occasional travel for business events, depending on the work you do, clients, and industries/sectors you serve.
  • You’re based in Belgrade or Novi Sad.
